Twitter

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

Today I finally signed up with Twitter or maybe I should say ‘gave in’ and signed up with Twitter. I always thought Twitter was just pointless drivel and I refused to sign up. What made me change my mind? A little blog post of someone who’d just signed up. I guess I wanted to ‘follow’ her on Twitter, see what she is up to. No, I am not a crazed stalker, I just keep telling myself that I need to follow the trends and signing up with twitter and type in pointless drivel to let everyone know what you are up to is just another trend on the internet these days.

I have to admit that I haven’t figured this whole twitter thing out yet. If anyone would like to stalk follow me on twitter here’s the address: twitter.com/Sandra46

Valentino Rossi back on top

Monday, May 19th, 2008

Shit, that MotoGP race in Le Mans was awesome!!! Valentino Rossi was the bomb - he was riding that Yamaha bike like he was possessed by a demon. He dominated the race and is back in the lead for the championship. I got only one thing to say to all those people who had the nerves to doubt him and write him off…

Valentino Rossi gives the finger!

Valentino Rossi wins the GP of China

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Valentino RossiFor the last couple of months I have been getting pissed off about all the negativity surrounding my MotoGP hero. The commentators were wondering out loud whether Valentino Rossi still had it in him to win a Grand Prix. So-called Valentino Rossi fans switched over to the Casey Stoner camp. People were saying it was time for him to retire and that he was too old to keep up with the young guns. It made me furious. Valentino Rossi has seven world titles under his belt and he is without a doubt the most talented rider on the track.

Yesterday Valentino Rossi proved everyone wrong and silenced all his critics by winning the GP of China in a very impressive way. His motorbike and tires finally allowed him to showcase what he is capable of. Every lap he went faster and faster until no one could keep up with him. He is a true champion and it’s about time that people consider him as a world title contender again. Valentino Rossi rules!

Chris Cornell unplugged

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

The first time I heard David Cook (American Idols) sing Billy Jean I thought he was brilliant. The musical arrangement was simply beautiful. Little did I know that the genius who had come up with that arrangement was Chris Cornell. Anyway, when I heard that the original Michael Jackson song was covered by Chris Cornell I just had to have the song. Turns out that it was an acoustic version from his album “Unplugged in Sweden”.

I’ve been a fan of Chris Cornell since his Soundgarden days, so naturally I wanted to have the whole album. It is beautiful. I can’t really say which song is my favorite, because they’re all so good. I absolutely love the covers that are on the album like Redemption song and Thank you. It was hard to pick an unplugged song to post on my blog, but I decided on the acoustic version of ‘Black Hole Sun’. It is one of my favorite songs of the ’90s. Hope you like it as much as I do.
